Sending Purchased Tickets as Gifts

Brushfire allows tickets to be purchased and sent as gifts to individuals via email. 

To enable this, administrators can simply check the box labeled "Enable Gifting" when editing any registrant/ticket types in your event's Registrant/Ticket Type Edit Tab.


When the customer checks out, a "Send as Gift" option appears which will give the customer the option send this ticket to someone as a gift when they complete their transaction!


The person sending the gift will get an order confirmation with a link to complete sending the gift.



When clicking on the link, the buyer will be prompted to add a message to the recipient.


When the purchaser sends the message, the recipient will get an email notifying them of the gift, allowing them to complete the registration form with their information.




Pro Tip: We always recommend that organizers email all buyers/attendees with a ticket download link or check-in QR code to make sure recipients have their tickets and any up-to-date event info prior to arriving at check-in.

IMPORTANT: This is a required step when gifting is enabled for any of your registrant types.
