Standard Checkout vs Point of Sale Mode

Brushfire enables you to switch to Point of Sale mode in order to expedite the checkout process. When selected, Address is no longer needed and Phone is optional.  Postal Code is still available to enter but is only required if your payment processor mandates that the billing postal code be associated with an order.  If unsure, leave it off and you will get a message indicating it is necessary to complete the transaction.  Email address is always optional when placing an administrative order.

Note that your delivery method (if applicable) is pre-selected to Point of Sale, so be prepared to print if the order includes tickets.  

To accept contactless card payments during checkout (when using Square as your payment processor), you can configure your Brushfire Account and Computer to use a Square Terminal Device for contactless payments.

You can switch from Standard to Point of Sale mode at any time at checkout.
